New construction of a wooden pellet production plant - 90,000 tonnes per year (Germany)

längle engineers® has been given the task of designing and pre-planning ,a wooden pellet production plant, including a profitability calculation, in southern Germany, which will manufacture around 90,000 tonnes of ENplus pellets each year, as well as a connected biomass heating plant.

OCTOBER 2015

New construction of a wooden pellet production plant - 320,000 tonnes per year (Romania)

längle engineers® has been tasked with the general planning of a wooden pellet production plant, which will manufacture 320,000 tonnes of ENplus pellets each year. The project includes the design of the entire plant, including all necessary individual operations such as the complete structural and support planning of all production and storage areas, the heating plant, planning all production system technologies, energy technologies, electronics and technical building equipment. Three drying lines will be constructed for wood drying with an evaporation rate of around 33 tonnes of water per hour. A 30 MW biomass heating plant will be constructed to generate power. By-products of timber harvesting, such as bark and harvest residue processed into wood chips will be used as fuel. Fuel consumption is at a rate of around 360,000 loose cubic metres of wood chips, which are gathered from the by-products of timber harvesting.

4.5 MW heat extraction from a biogas system (Germany)

The "PNE - Energiepark Trelder Wald GmbH" energy park near Bucholz has tasked längle engineers® with recording and analysing the existing heat extraction from the biogas conversion system with a thermal output of 4.5 MW. After carrying out the analysis, our specialist engineers are due to develop a reconstruction and adaptation plan to optimise heat extraction and the heating supply to external heat consumers and deal with its implementation.
